I’ve been taking photographs for 40 years or so and this site offers a small sample. My ‘beginner’s eye‘ blog explores my attempts to see beyond the photographic conventions that saturate the visual world. The site has landscape photographs taken in Australia and New Zealand, Iceland and my home county, Devon.
It also includes documentary photographs of the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989 and UK road protests in the 1990’s. There are a few people and portrait photos and multimedia art images from the ‘Colours’ series.
I have an MA in Photographic Studies and have contributed photographs to several magazines including The New Statesman and Earthmatters (the Friends of the Earth magazine). I have exhibited my work in London and Derby. Prints of my work are available.
